Their pad see ew is AMAZING. It's the BEST I've ever had. The best. Sweet and sour sauce compliments the dish very well. Never had a bad experience there. Their green curry is also amazing. And their pad tofu lunch special.

got delivery, ordered bacon wrapped shrimp (pretty good, nothing unique though), some beef chow mein, and thai iced tea. it was all very good and i had zero complaints. i've ordered takeout here before--their wonton soup is good.

Tub Tim is a run o the mill Thai food resturaunt. The staff is friendly, the food good. Not amazing. You will not be dissapointed by anything on the menu, but not wowed either. Egg Rolls, and Satay are tastee. Dinner specials are more than enough food, and cheap. Their Won Ton soup is great.

So I wandered into Tub Tim when I first moved to the LA about three years ago. I didn't need food. I needed change to do laundry next door. But, you know, I felt bad just using them for change, so I bought some pad thai to take back to the laundromat with me. It was delicious. I returned to Tub Tim later that week, a friend in tow. At first, she balked at the divey digs. But after trying the food, she was a convert. They recently remodeled, so its lost some of its roughshod charm--but the prices are still low and the food is still tasty. Much better than, say, Simply Thai one block north.

I had only eaten here once before and it was mediocre Thai food at best. Wanted some Thai delivery and thought we'd give it another shot. Ordered through Seamless and were given a 30-45 minute window. Called after 50 minutes to get an ETA, and a man answered the phone saying they were very busy and the food would be ready and delivered in 20 minutes. We asked if the food had even started to be cooked yet and he assured us it was and would be ready shortly. Another 35 minutes go by and nothing. We call again and a very rude lady answered and said it would be another 30 minutes. She said the food hadn't even started cooking and gave us every excuse as to why in an hour and a half they hadn't even begun. This place is the absolute worst. Don't eat here with a bunch of lazy and dishonest employees.

Love this place. Friendly staff and great food at amazing prices especially the lunch specials. Lunch special has a large portion that includes fried wontons, salad, and rice with the main course, and it's cheap! I love their Thai iced coffee with boba as well (I know everyone loves Thai iced tea but try the coffee. You'll love it). I've had several of their specials but I love the cashew chicken and yellow curry the best. Only complaint is they are a bit slow if you have a larger group which doesn't always get you in and out for a work day lunch break.

Best shrimp fried rice. A must try. Also they use the big shrimps not the ugly little ones. And the rice is magical. Plus the Thai iced tea is bomb. Also the service is great & the staff is friendly eat here now!!!

Ok and I'm being totally honest and shocked here.... THEY HAVE THE BEST PAD SEE EW ...that I've ever had!!!! Portion in kind of small, but it's the BOMB....I order the beef!!! Also Shrimp bacon....just so you can get an idea, I ordered deliveries from this place three nights in a row...I never do anything except bathe for three nights in a row...this food is yummy!!!! I'm currently addicted to this place, the food is consistent, the service is quick and it's affordable so I will update my review to 5 stars!!!!

Ordered delivery. Food got here in less than 30 minutes. That was the only highlight. Ordered the Tom Kha soup with chicken and the chicken smelled fishy and tasted gamey. Had asked for extra spicy and was so bland. Hubby ordered chicken pad thai and he said it was ok. The delivery gives smaller portions I guess. Really wanted to like it based on others' reviews. Will not order from them again. There are far too many better Thai restaurants in the neighborhood.

This place is my favorite Thai food restaurant! It's a little hole in the wall place, but don't let it's exterior deter you because the food here is AMAZING! Pad Thai (chicken &/or shrimp or both) and fried wontons are the best! They even DELIVER! Tub Tim Siam = my Fav!

Ordered a giant order to go, they told us it will be 30 minutes, when I got there 35 minutes later, they said "oh, we'll go make it now." No apologies, no explanation, and when i asked if she just decided to make it just now that we arrived she started yelling repeatedly "we make it now its coming." And walked to the kitchen. 20 minutes later, Im late and they half assed the food. Definitely not on top of things nor apologetic about the sloppiness. An hour total for takeout, if ur down with that, this is the place for it!

Fresh and delicious Thai cuisine. I just had Tom Yum Soup w Shrimp, Pad See Ew w chicken and very refreshing Thai iced tea. Will be back for more. Come get some. #georgeeatsla

Decent Thai. The Pad-see-ew was a little dry, should include some extra sauce for arrival when doing delivery. We also had the green curry. Every other place when you order the curries comes with rice, here it didn't so ended up saving it for lunch the next day and having to make some rice to go with it. Should be more clear on the menu that rice doesn't come with the curry (and if it does, they forgot mine!).

Absolutely love this place! Been going here for years and every time i take some one new they thank me and keep going there... Home made food in my opinion and such a delightful place to dine. Its super unpretentious and has a home away from home vibe. Delicious food at reasonable prices and a great family owned restaurant i love the people working here.. yay for this gem!

OMG!!! Such good food. I've had the cashew nut dish and everything on that plate was spot on. The salad, the wonton, the brown rice and of course the veggies with the sauce just melted in my mouth. I was blown away. The service was great, the waiters were nice, friendly and respectful. Will be back for sure!

Food is great and portions are big. Service is good too they just don't speak much English. It's a bit hard to understand them or special request are hard.

In all fairness, I didn't actually eat here. I was looking for take-out and asked some questions about ingredients. They pulled out the plastic-wrapped packages to read the ingredients. Very polite service, but I was not thrilled to learn they don't actually cook from scratch. I'm not sure my one star is warranted, but the current 4 stars seems way off base.

I love this place. The food is great and the service is awesome. I've been come here for a while now; trying random things on the menu. You can't go wrong with any of the items. Even when I'm not hungry, I stop by for Thai Coffee or Thai Tea. They have boba with those too. The waiter is pretty awesome. We usually chat about cycling, running, working out, the great outdoors, traveling, and random things. Every once in a while, I'll see him doing maintenance on a customer's bike outside the restaurant. Then, one time he offered to to clean and lube my bike when it wasn't busy. Needless to say, I was impressed. My bike was riding smoother than when it was new and I got a great meal. Also, they make all the food from scratch, so you can make changes to the ingredients. I always ask for no sugar and no bamboo.

Ordered take out. I put the wrong address on my eat24. Someone at the wrong address took my food. So they brought me another! And when it got to me it was amazing. Thanks TUB TIM SIAM.

I absolutely love this place! I have been to a lot of Thai restaurants in LA and this is by far my favorite. I tried it for the first time a couple of months ago, and now I make a point to go once or twice a week. The food is delicious. My favorite item is the ginger sauce. If you go for their lunch special, you get an entree, rice, salad, and a wonton for like $6.50. Such a good deal, especially considering the quality of food. The service is also wonderful. The man who is there whenever I stop by is great at his job and incredibly pleasant. Go today! You won't be sorry!

Tub tim is definitely a whole in the wall restaurant. The waitstaff are ridiculously kind human beings, and i always feel taken care of when I'm there. The food is overall pretty tastey, except for he pad Thai. Oddly enough, that signature dish was actually pretty sour. It was too pungent in a vomit kind of way, which is weird because all of their other dishes are soo good! Its a quaint little neighborhood restaurant with a family feel. I recommend the vegetarian coconut curry, with a cold beer. Their white rice is fresh, fluffy and just delicious! But they also serve brown rice by request and are very vegan friendly.

The most under appreciated Thai restaurant in los feliz! Way better than simply Thai! Amazing lunch special even on weekends before 3pm!! Always great service and great prices!! I love this place to dine in and for delivery;) cheap beers too!!

This is our office's go to Thai Place for lunch...walking distance, which is even better!! We always call in huge orders (about 10) and they always get it right! It's about time places get orders right (even if it's big). I love how I'm never thirsty after eating here...that's when you know they don't use any or just a little MSG. I usually get their Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken w/ Veges in Garlic Sauce, or their Green Curry. Their portions are very generous...even their lunch specials! And I love how they offer Brown Rice. The Chicken with Garlic Sauce is my favorite; however, I think they put too much sauce in it. Next time I will ask for Light on the Sauce. The employees are also very nice and once again, always get the orders right :)

The food is good but the service is terrible. Do not order take out or delivery from this place. They are consistently late and do not care. I've told them they can't be over 40 minutes late with food and they just shrug it off and do nothing about it.

This is the only thai food restaurant I eat at and I live 20 miles away- in the valley. Tub tim has the best pad thai I've tasted. The pad thai isn't too sweet and the pad see ew isn't too salty. They are perfect! The waiters are extremely attentive. Also, the owner is so sweet! The restaurant is setup comfortably and everyone is friendly.

I loved the food but never ordering from here again. A few weeks ago, I order from them and TWO HOURS LATER the food still wasn't here!!!!! We're sitting there starving as hell and no food! We call them, my mom pissed off, and the worker said that the deliverer came to our house with the food and no one was answering the phone?!! Our phone didn't ring the whole time! After ten minutes of screaming at them we just hung up and got McDonalds, the fastest way of getting food. Hope this helps and this doesn't happen to u guys!

noodles are cheap people, why such dreadfully small plates. We were the only customers on a Friday night and after eating there I understood why. The taste was ok, but for the price there are many better choices.

Portions and price point were really good, as was ambiance. Stay away from the panang curry, and I think you will have an excellent meal. We got the pad see ew and BBQ chicken also which comes with a delicious fried rice. I look forward to coming back and trying some other noodle dishes.

I have seen the darkness...and I have seen the horror.....and I have seen the desecration of one of my favorite Thai foods...and this slop shop did it. Mee Krob should be a lightly sweet crispy cloud of noodles with fresh bean sprouts and moist seasoned chicken and shrimp nestled among all the goodness.... OH HELL NO...Not at Tub Tim...it came out looking like something I scraped from my gutter and tasted about as bad...if not worse. Hard spidery thin stringy noodles in a rat nest...haphazardly coated in a equally foul black sauce that tasted of old soy and too much salt. Withered pieces of unidentifiable flesh so dried out that one thought of soylent green. And bean sprouts? Not a single leaf... This dish was a horror movie in itself. Despite the foul visual...I was hungry so i took a taste and literally gagged. This appetizer ruined the entire meal. Which isn't saying a lot as the remainder of the food was a soggy and flavorless mess. At least they made a decent Thai Tea...it helped wash the foul taste of the Mee Krob out of my mouth. Yuk. Never again.

I love the food here. There is something for every season. When its hot out, I go with any of the noodles. When its cold, I go for the awesome soups. The selection is great; there is always something that I'm craving here. I always get the Thai Iced Tea (sometimes the Thai iced coffee) and an appetizer. The service is wonderful and I'll end up just killing time there during my lunch break, while doing my laundry, or while waiting for the traffic to clear up.

Man, I wanted to like this place. I really did. But when Thai food does me wrong, I can't abide it. I love Thai food too much to put up with mediocrity! I went into Tub Tim to have a romantic lunch date of 1. I got myself the Pad Thai lunch special, because I can usually gauge the tastiness of the rest of the food at a Thai place through the Pad Thai. Yes, that's a thing and it's true. Ask the internet! It wasn't all that great. In fact, I'd go as far as to say that it was probably the worst Pad Thai I've had in a long while. That's not to say it was disgusting, but through comparison of other restaurants I've had recently, Tub Tim was the worst. The flavors were bland. And the noodles. Boy the noodles.... They were AL DENTE. I'm talking about the kind of al dente that almost renders them inedible. The only reason that I finished my plate was that I was famished. Otherwise I would have left the noodles there. Oh and my tofu was a mushy mess. It seemed like they just cut it up and warmed it up with the food, like an afterthought. No work whatsoever went into that poor tofu. :( I suggest you pass. They didn't do a good job at making me want to come back. The only two redeeming qualities about this place (hence the two stars) were the Thai iced tea and the server dude. The tea was pretty good and the server was super sweet and attentive. Thanks for that rocking service, man. Other than that, stay away folks.

Looks like a major dive from the street. Food is FANTASTIC. I order delivery almost once a week. Just about everything is available vegetarian. They aren't cheap with the vegetables and you can get mixed tofu and vegetables in most dishes. Fresh rolls with basil, tofu, rice wrapper things are AMAZING. Spicy noodles aren't that spicy but are still delicious. Fried rice is good, Prik King is good, green beans also aren't as spicy as other places "spicy" but still very very good. Delivery people are fast and friendly. Sorry Simply Thai but this place totally replaced you for me!

I recently ate dinner here with a friend. I ordered chicken with basil leaves. I ate half of the dish and had the waiter pack the rest of it in a to-go box for me. It was packed in a tightly sealed foam container. The next day, I opened it up. Just as I was going to take a bite, I notice something wrapped in between the basil leaves, onions and sauce. It was a roach! A small roach about 1/2 an inch long! I was repulsed by the site, then at the thought of me eating about half of the dish the previous night! This has never happened to me before, EVER! I called them right away and spoke with someone there. I was not calling to scold them or rant about my horrible experience. I just wanted to let them know that they have a roach problem and should do something about it. The lady on the other end of the line said that the fumigator comes every other month to fumigate. I don't know if they have had this problem before or if fumigating restaurants is standard. What I do know is that it's a health hazard and is down right disgusting to have roaches in the kitchen, let alone have them served in your food! The lady offered me a refund, but I really don't want $9 back. I don't ever want to step foot in that restaurant again. This is my first review ever in yelp. I felt that it was my responsibility to let people know about my experience there to potentially save them from getting sick. 2/1/14: update! I posted a photo of my roach finding that was swimming in my chicken basil leaves when I posted this review several months back. Low and behold, the photo is no longer posted!!! This is NOT a joke, or some terrible revenge I want on this establishment for serving me such a horrific dish. I am not making this up. This has never happened to me before. I've seen roaches in restaurants, but NEVER in my food! (That doesn't make it any better, but I'd much have it that way than the other). I'm sorry, but I feel like yelp is a place for honesty amongst customers and NOT advertisements from business owners. Tub Tim Siam, please stop filtering through your reviews and photos to eliminate anything that is TRUE.

Wow, the summer rolls are unbelievable, and their warm peanut dipping sauce is unreal. My husband had the vegetable pad see ew which was great, and I had the shrimp wanton soup which was amazing too. Definitely will travel to Los Feliz to eat here. Highly recommend it!!!

So yummy and underrated. Their pad see ew is one of the best in town. So glad this place is right around the corner from me. Love that I don't have to drive to Thai town to get my fix. Plus the staff is always so friendly. it's a family operation and those need all the support they can get in this hood.

Hands down the best Thai Food one can find on this side of the Pacific Ocean! This place is a haven for all Thai Food connoisseurs alike. If you are fortunate enough to be served by one of the younger males, he'll do you no wrong and will go out on an limb to ensure that you are completely satisfied ;) Don't hesitate to try this place out, the food will do all the talking and will have you reporting back to Yelp directly after to write your very own 5-star review.

1st time to this place, service good, food good. We only ordered 2 dishes so a hard to give complete review......what we ordered was delicious and tasty. Nice friendly waiter, prompt service. We were on way to Greek theatre so it was a nice place to order a bite to eat before show. I would go back! Altho must say, with all the Thai restaurants in area with good ratings will try another next time.

Not a place I'd want to sit for a meal, but good for takeout or delivery. Very friendly and gracious staff. The food was all very good except for, oddly, the old standby Pad Thai which was a bit dry and lacking in flavor. It was almost all noodles, and lacked flavor from all the missing ingredients. The curry, however, was especially delicious. I'd give it a second try but skip the Pad Thai.

Eugenia B.
The staff is friendly and gracious, the place is clean and it has a generally relaxing vibe. All the food is fresh, lots of veggie options for the days I turn into a vegetarian. It's just tried and true and always an excellent, satisfying experience. Dynamite wings are yummy. All he dishes are deliciously prepared and they are careful about spicing things to each customer's specifications. I love the music they play!

Great service. The waiter/waitress is nice. The restaurant has a nice neighborly vibe to it, from the way the waiter interact with the guests. Maybe it's because I'm a regular. The menu is pretty basic Thai food. The selection is huge and it all tastes good. The restroom is sort of small.

The yellow curry and Thai iced tea from Tub Tim are my golden standard of what they should taste like. The Thai Toast is delicous too, and despite being in a weird little strip mall the inside is very pretty.

I've eaten here a couple times before, and always liked it. Reason I'm writing the review now is that I just ordered for delivery for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at how fast they were and how good the food was (and it helps that the delivery guy simply said "thanks for ordering from us" and the relatively large order was exactly right). Seems to me the other thai options in los feliz are either too expensive for tiny portions, or quantity over quality. For me, decent portions delivered fast for a reasonable price makes tubtim my new go to for thai delivery and earns them 5 stars from me. Plus, it seems like they're making an effort to improve and that's always a good thing.
(5)

Horrible customer service. We placed an order for delivery and a half an hour later they called saying we were out of the delivery and were extremely rude. One man even hung up on us. And according to google maps we're only 2.7 which is less than their 3 mile delivery zone.

Super solid little Thai joint. The food is excellent and it's pretty affordable. I know ordering Pad Thai is boring and obvious, but this spot has really great Pad Thai. The curries are great as well. There's nothing out of this world about the spot, but it's a great option to have in the neighborhood. Simply Thai just up the street is fancier, but this place has better food.
(4)
The F.
Their menu says "Best Thai Food in Los Feliz Village." And they're right. Chicken Pad Thai was awesome and big. The place's location works against itself. You see a strip mall and you're like: WELL FUCK THAT SHIT. But, listen: Don't do that. Instead, eat that. Eat it.
(5)
Thom D.
Consistent quality I've been ordering here for 8 years Good value. Thai delivery varies but Tub Tim is always good if not excellent Nice-sized portions Quick delivery Try their chicken curries, chicken larb Tom Khai Kai soup is very nice Don't judge the food by the shabby exterior I'm rating 4 stars because it's very good (not always excellent) but for value, it's usually 5 stars.

J K.
I love this place! And I am a Thai food Fanatic! I'm the type of gal who eats the street Thai food when in Thailand, so I know about legit. This is the best Thai spot in Los Feliz. It's like a little neighborhood secret. It is also the most reasonably priced. This is not a fine dining restaurant but it's quaint, small and all about the food. Plus they have a happy hour :) Go Chang!

Pros: decent pad thai Cons: Inconsistent, a single shrimp in my pad thai I've only ordered takeout here. Pad Thai will hold you over if you're having a craving but it's not outstanding. Also, they're cheap with the shrimp. Pad Thai is supposed to be chicken and shrimp but they only put 1 shrimp. They also forget to give me the red spicy sauce that goes with it. I don't understand how they forget to add more shrimp and include the red sauce. This place is never that busy. I'm giving this place one last shot......If I see 1 piece of shrimp in my container I'm just gonna walk out. I hate complaining and sending stuff back but I just wont pay for it. I'll just leave it and walk out.

This might be the most dreadful thai I have ever eaten! I am so massively confused what these other reviewers are talking about or what food they got. It was HORRIBLE, so horrible me and my bf had to throw it away. I asked for veggie pad that, I received pad thai that had no flavor and had chicken and shrimp. The pad thai also smelled really bad. We also ordered the fried rice. The rice was clearly old. It was mushy and was not really fried rice as much as some rice thrown in a pan and God knows what. There was absolutely no way the eggrolls were homemade. I couldn't even eat them, again mushy. We ordered sweet and sour chicken, it was a pool of sweet and sour sauce in a box and with some random pieces of white meat chicken floating in it. We had to throw away the whole order, there was no way we could even salvage it by recooking it ourselves. DREADFUL. SAVE YOURSELF - THIS IS NOT THAI FOOD!!! head to Samanluang or Rambutan (sp?)

I'll be one of the first to say it, I like this place much better than Simply Thai which is across the street! Sure, the decor of Tub Tim Siam may not be as glamorous as Simply Thai, but I think the food tastes much better here. I'm a big curry fan and I almost always order curry when I go to thai restaurants, and for the price ($8-10) you get some really yummy dishes. When I'm craving thai curry, I go here. Simply Thai, however, is more pricey and the food is not as good, nor is it that much. I'm not too crazy about the appetizers at Tub Tim Siam (dumplings, shumai, spring rolls) but they have some good tom yum soups and really good thai ice teas. The soup, however, could be much spicier. I've had them deliver to me in the Los Feliz area for lunch and I was surprised how soon they arrived :) The only reason why I wouldn't rate it a 5 is because of the decor. I think they could do a lot more with both interior and exterior decorations, perhaps more to set the mood. I think the big TVs and the tacky Christmas lighting is awful. I understand that they want to be a local spot and make it comforting for people, but they should set their priorities and turn it into a proper thai restaurant. If you're looking for atmosphere, go to Simply Thai.

My family ate here with some friends upon recommendations we saw on Yelp. We just spent the late afternoon at the Griffith Observatory and were starving. We found the restaurant situated in a strip mall. At first I didn't think it looked open, it was so empty, but we were welcomed by a friendly staff. The food was very tasty and I highly recommend the Pineapple Curry. Wow, best I've tasted in a long time. Our children enjoyed the chicken satay and the Tom Kah Kai soup. We also had the pad thai, prik king (beef) and larb......all very tasty and yummy. The service started out good, but considering the place wasn't full, she didn't pay much attention to us towards the end of the meal. We were thinking about getting dessert, but because it took so long to clear the table and get her attention, we decided to forgo dessert and get yogurt up the street. For the slow service, I'm giving this place three stars instead of four. The food was fantastic though!

I must have hit this place on a bad night, because the food was a unfathomable joke. A fluorescent-colored curry that tasted like one of its ingredients was Hawaiian Punch? I don't get it. There are dozens of great Thai restaurants within a mile of this place and I can't see how this one could survive if this is what they're dishing up. I'm going to have to chalk my experience up to a "substitute chef" working that night or something because having eaten literally hundreds of Thai meals in my lifetime, I have never had one as bad as this. Reading these other reviews from people who seem to know Thai food pretty well, I am baffled.

Andrea S.
Everything here was pretty good. I wouldn't say it's the best, but I wouldn't say it's bad either. The portions are generous.I don't like the parking here It's a bit sketchy and it can be filled fast since it's in a plaza. The food took a while to come out, like about 20 minutes... Maybe because the food is so fresh it takes a while?
(4)
Steph B.
It is the best delivery food around. It is very fresh tasting, not much grease at all, but not so healthy that you might as well not have ordered delivery food. The curry is very good and the vegetables in oyster sauce is the best. They deliver quickly too.

This place is a neighborhood classic for me. I used to love listening to the pan-flute renditions of "my heart will go on" while eating a lunch special. The Lunch special is where it is at... A few years back they used to have a dinner special as well; I wish they would bring that back. But it seems like they are trying to class it up a bit - unsuccessfully. I like that they have Chinese food as well, and again, it is a good value.

Best Thai food in Los Feliz (and anywhere in LA that we have tried). They are great... highly recommend the soups.

Merrissa S.
Maybe this place is a hit or miss. Or maybe they just don't put as much love into their take-out as they do for dining in, but I was unpleasantly surprised with the quality of my food this time around. And I was starving, so that says something. I ordered the duck with red curry and a tom yum soup. The soup was flavorful, but not spicy at all. How can you make tom yum with none of that spicy Thai chilies that I've come to love so dearly? My curry was greeease city. Granted, I didn't start eating until about 15 minutes after I got the food, but the grease shouldn't have settled that quickly, and that thickly (ew) on the top of the container. There was more chunks of duck fat than there was meat and again, not spicy. Maybe they were just having an off night, but I was so unsatisfied with this meal. I'll probably give it another try if I'm in the area, just to see.

Whenever I dine, get delivery, or take out in a Thai Restaurant I always get my favorite pad thai of course. Especially when if they put a lot of peanuts. Omg the best! I thought their pad thai tasted wonderful so I am satisfied. Although overall, I thought the service was okay. But we waited quite a while to get our bill and my boyfriend and I were the only one there.

This place is good for take out, again, one of those nights you don't want to fight your stove and nothing in the fridge looks appealing. They do great Curries (I'm a green fan myself, but red is also good). Pad Thai is just okay, nothing special, need lots of Sriracha to help it out. Ya, and the price is reasonable for the area. The owners are real nice, atmosphere inside very homly, not too noisy, clean and orderly.

Tub Tim Siam is located in a strip mall on Hillhurst and Melbourne. They have a small parking lot, but there's usually street parking available. TTS is pretty small; it holds about 20-25 people. The service is friendly and pretty quick. The food is fresh and tasty. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are decently sized. The menu is great! They offer the option of three types of rice (individual orders or full): jasmine, sticky, and brown. They also have many entrees where the customer picks the type of meat, and veg*ns can pick tofu/vegetables instead. Almost everything can be made vegetarian!

My go to Thai joint, they have great soup and natural spring rolls. There are like a million thai joints in the neighborhood so to find one that is consistent and solid is a win. I usually get my food to go but the inside is nice.

Yet another reason to love my neighborhood: I can walk to this great little place that makes some of the best Tofu Pad Thai I have ever had. It's delicious and inexpensive. Love it.

Yeah I too used to love this place and have been saddened by it's steady decline. The food isn't as cheap anymore, and it pisses me off that they charge an extra dollar for fried tofu as opposed to just regular tofu. Come on! They recently (somewhat) re-designed the place and it's even worse. Weird floors, huge TVs, and steadily increasing prices. The place is usually empty or at the most 3/4 full, and I remember just a year or two ago the place would be jammed on any weeknight, and on weekends I've even had to wait for a table. Definitely head over to Pattaya or Leela - much better food and less money.

I LOVE this place! It is currently my thai restaurant of choice of the moment because I can order out during those fat nights. I have to agree with the one reviewer who stated that their pad see ew is seriously DELISH! Their fried wontons are like heart-attack dipping chips and the Tom Yum is pretty decent. I think their pad see ew is honestly better than Thai BBQ's, and I love me some Thai BBQ. I am kind of glad it's not as packed as before or that some of ya'll will stop going here because of the "steady price increases and drops in quality" if only for the fact that I can get a table, takeout or my food delivery quicker. YAY!
(5)
Courtney D.
Eh....ok I guess. The prices were pretty average and so was the food. I rather take a few steps down and hit up Simply Thai. They no longer have the dinner specials that my friends had raved about. They said that's what made Tub Tim Siam so reasonable. The spring rolls were very fresh, but of the raw spring roll variety.

debbie (the owner) is super sweet and always smiling. i find that the dishes here are very authentic. if you want spicy though, be sure to let them know as the dishes are more on the mild side. the pad thai here is awesome as many have mentioned. ive been coming here for over 7 years now. they have recently renovated, and the prices have gone up by about $1.50, but in this economy, that isnt a big deal. they still offer daily lunch specials. oh, and tubtim caters to the cast & crew of grey's anatomy. sandra oh and katherine heigl also order takeout. yay!

Terrible food here once.

Hal B K.
I'm sad to say that this place has gone from a solid 4.5 (I would have rounded up), to a very mediocre 2.5 (and rounding down). Ever since the new menu design was introduced, the Tub Tim has gotten a little worse on each visit. Not only are the AMAZING deals gone, but the quality of both the food and service have decreased, too. Now, it's still a pretty decent deal for the price, and weekday lunch specials remain a highlight. However, a rating's going to take a pretty big hit when you ask me to pay more for lower quality. Oh, Tub Tim Siam, please go back to the dingy decor and low low prices.

Solid neighborhood thai restaurant that's run by a courteous family.

I love this place! They do free delivery in the area and the food is really good for the price. It's not the best looking place on the outside, but the food more than makes up for it. If you don't care about decor and are just looking for good / cheap Thai food, this is the place to go.

Had takeout from here last night. The Tom Kha chicken soup was excellent. Really hit the spot! Also ordered shrimp pad thai which was pretty good. The delivery was incredibly fast! They said 45 minutes and it was more like 30.

Their pad see ew is AMAZING. It's the BEST I've ever had. The best. Sweet and sour sauce compliments the dish very well. Never had a bad experience there. Their green curry is also amazing. And their pad tofu lunch special.
(5)Joanne S.
got delivery, ordered bacon wrapped shrimp (pretty good, nothing unique though), some beef chow mein, and thai iced tea. it was all very good and i had zero complaints. i've ordered takeout here before--their wonton soup is good.
(4)Aaron R.
(4)Joe B.
best thai in los angeles. never had a dish there i didnt like. everything is always fresh and the flavors are intense. its weird there is never anybody in there.
(5)Mike K.
(4)Ale S.
I love Thai food and I try different restaurants Today I came here for the first time and It was delicious. The waitress was very nice and friendly/ Five stars for Tubtim Siam
(5)Brynne Z.
(1)Jill M.
(4)Joshua G.
Best shrimp fried rice. A must try. Also they use the big shrimps not the ugly little ones. And the rice is magical. Plus the Thai iced tea is bomb. Also the service is great & the staff is friendly eat here now!!!
(5)Kat M.
(5)Radiant S.
(1)Ashley C.
(5)M. G.
(2)George E.
Fresh and delicious Thai cuisine. I just had Tom Yum Soup w Shrimp, Pad See Ew w chicken and very refreshing Thai iced tea. Will be back for more. Come get some. #georgeeatsla
(4)Angelina M.
(3)Nina K.
(5)Emilie G.
OMG!!! Such good food. I've had the cashew nut dish and everything on that plate was spot on. The salad, the wonton, the brown rice and of course the veggies with the sauce just melted in my mouth. I was blown away. The service was great, the waiters were nice, friendly and respectful. Will be back for sure!
(5)Amber B.
Love this place - absolutely delicious and great customer service. It's such a cute little hidden gem. The prices are great too.
(5)Doris M.
Food is great and portions are big. Service is good too they just don't speak much English. It's a bit hard to understand them or special request are hard.
(4)Shana R.
(1)Ana A.
+ Great prices especially their lunch specials. I'm pescatarian, their veggie options are great and they offer tofu with main dish. The Thai Ice tea is creamy so yummy. My favorite dine in and take out in silverlake. Friendly customer service. - Parking a
(5)Sarah L.
(5)Martin R.
Ordered take out. I put the wrong address on my eat24. Someone at the wrong address took my food. So they brought me another! And when it got to me it was amazing. Thanks TUB TIM SIAM.
(5)Hillary S.
(5)Jimy H.
(4)Sheila P.
The most under appreciated Thai restaurant in los feliz! Way better than simply Thai! Amazing lunch special even on weekends before 3pm!! Always great service and great prices!! I love this place to dine in and for delivery;) cheap beers too!!
(5)Harmony L.
(4)D M.
Love this place, lunch special are the best.
(5)Javier H.
The food is good but the service is terrible. Do not order take out or delivery from this place. They are consistently late and do not care. I've told them they can't be over 40 minutes late with food and they just shrug it off and do nothing about it.
(2)Kimberly J.
(5)Eve G.
(1)David O.
noodles are cheap people, why such dreadfully small plates. We were the only customers on a Friday night and after eating there I understood why. The taste was ok, but for the price there are many better choices.
(2)JJ B.
Portions and price point were really good, as was ambiance. Stay away from the panang curry, and I think you will have an excellent meal. We got the pad see ew and BBQ chicken also which comes with a delicious fried rice. I look forward to coming back and trying some other noodle dishes.
(4)Mac D.
(1)Heather S.
(5)Mimi S.
(2)Rachele F.
Very unassuming store front but got damn is the food delicious. The best Pad See Ew EVER. They deliver, too!
(5)Angie B.
(5)Kenneth H.
I love this place. The lunch specials are an incredible deal - dinner quality for lunch prices. I have had the Thai barbecue and the shrimp chow mein. I always order the Thai iced tea. The service is excellent and the restroom is clean.
(5)JJ S.
Great lunch specials! Staff is just great: family business, super friendly. The place is nice and relaxed. Food is VERY tasty! And parking is on a private lot!!!
(4)Amarah R.
(1)Rebecca S.
(5)Wai T.
So yummy and underrated. Their pad see ew is one of the best in town. So glad this place is right around the corner from me. Love that I don't have to drive to Thai town to get my fix. Plus the staff is always so friendly. it's a family operation and those need all the support they can get in this hood.
(5)Tarezz L.
Really enjoyed my lunch! Good food relaxing atmosphere. Really enjoyed the Tom Yum soup
(4)Michael H.
(5)Ximena A.
Amazing food. Amazing service. Its a hidden gem in a random strip mall on Hillhurst. Had the cashew nuts with vegetables and it was great. Brown Rice was delicious.
(5)Jenn L.
(4)ima i.
(3)Eugenia B.
(5)Paul A.
(5)Trisha T.
The yellow curry and Thai iced tea from Tub Tim are my golden standard of what they should taste like. The Thai Toast is delicous too, and despite being in a weird little strip mall the inside is very pretty.
(5)Joe E.
Really friendly people here and the food is really good. I usually get the chicken fried rice or pad Thai. Portions are big and prices are low.
(5)v w.
Love the yellow vegetable curry. Always hits the spot. And the staff is always really warm and friendly.
(4)Roe S.
(5)Dorothy H.
Horrible customer service. We placed an order for delivery and a half an hour later they called saying we were out of the delivery and were extremely rude. One man even hung up on us. And according to google maps we're only 2.7 which is less than their 3 mile delivery zone.
(1)Seth G.
(4)The F.
Eat it.
(5)Thom D.
(4)J K.
(5)Eleno O.
This place is amazing Nice people very Convenient,.!
(5)L C.
(2)Liza D.

YAY!
(5)Courtney D.

(2)Hal B K.
